Crazy Night-pissed off majorly

To make a long story short,this young black guy without insurance,either drunk or on drugs hit 3 cars in the back including of course mine.Was stopped at a red light.My car could be total loss.Thank God nobody was seriously hurt,I'm surprised.He had no insurance,don't know about driver's license.Tons of cops there,took him to jail.The rest of us waited in the cold early this morning for cops to write report.I just hit my knee and my body is starting to hurt from jolt.Thinking of seeing my doctor for a muscle relaxant prescription.I still can't believe it happened.I'm gonna have to be cabbing it for a while-hate being carless. 

That sucks! Is insurance mandatory in NY? Hope he's in jail for a while either way.

Sorry Rebecca,hadn't seen your post.Basic insurance(that pays only for damage you cause to others) is mandatory.This idiot doesn't have any though.He was arrested and I too hope he's there for a long time!
