What's been going on ( warning, child/injury)

I posted a disclaimer because this may bother some.

Kristin's best friend has a little one, he is 15 months old. Sunday, while she was at work her bf put him in a tub of scalding water and he is burned on 85% of his body, 2nd and 3rd degree burns. He has had 3 skin graft surgeries since the 27th, and will be having many many more. HIs mom is young, 22 and has NO family in this area, so he is pretty much our grandkid. I was there when he was born, and gave him his first bath. He dances in my livingroom and wreaks havoc on my cooking utensils. Smiling happy baby...

There is an investigation, both police and cps, and I am sure he will be ok in time, he is in the BESt hospital in the US for burned kids. the person responsible with either pay for an intentional crime, or be responsible for a horrible accident. Either way I hope he feels guilty forever, this baby will have to live with this forever. I have been to Galveston twice in 3 days, to Houston once, and am basically exhausted.

Anyway, please pray for Lexton? He needs whatever you got.

That is absolutely horrible! I am so sorry for Lexton and will defintely pray for him.What is wrong with her bf??!! He must not be very sharp to say the least!*sigh*

I'm sorry to read this and the pain the child enduring....that bf needs to be pushished in more ways that I'd care to comment on :-(

I can't imagine the pain that little guy is in. Sending prayers his way, for him and his family and extended family. Take care of yourself Erin, I know what you're doing is exhausting.

OMG. I'm so sorry to hear this and yes, prayers going out to the little man. I can't begin to imagine how he's feeling!

I think I read on fb that she said she heard great news.I assumed it was about this little guy

He is doing better, out of the woods. He only had a 35% chance of survival. His dad got custody of him, and criminal charges are pending against Mom and boyfriend.
Lex still has a long road, but he will survive. He was released from ICU yesterday, and is gaining weight, and basically holding his own. Our home visit was yesterday, and we passed. I only have to get doorknob covers or a door alarm for the front. His dad needs a sitter 2 days a week, so i got elected. ......excuse my typos, waiting on the ferry and my phone has a mind of its own. I am going over today, tomorrow and Monday....then i get a break tuesdayy

Thank God he will live! Prayers are answered. Although I don't think that the mother is to blame from what you stated.

That's good news! Good luck with the babysitting, glad he has someone responsible in his life, poor honey. Continued thoughts and prayers to him.

He is home! Released yesterday ....there aren't words to describe it. Now onto the mom and boyfriends criminal trials warrants and indictments expected this week.
