Re: Happy New Year
the night is young ! Went to O'charley's for the 12.99 coupon special prime rib dinner (and I actually got carded LOL... not for the steak but for the wine... KY law Josh tells me)... home and ready to watch Bridesmaids and Night in Paris....
This is about as exciting as it gets at our age .... but safe !
Best to each and everyone one of you and I did what Trax and Athena said... without Rebecca and Lori, I'm sure this site would dissappear !

Re: Happy New Year
I didn't get carded, but we went to our favorite restaurant and got a free appetizer and dessert. That's one way to ensure a great tip on New Year's Eve. Last time I was carded was when I was about 35. The guy was just being an a**hole, because my roots (gray) were clearly showing.

Re: Happy New Year
Dad and I had Mexican food delivered. It's going to be a reaaaally quiet night for us.My brother is going to a place in Manhattan with a couple of friends.I can't be bothered to go.I'd rather ring in the N.Y with wine and/or champagne,tv and either the pc or the kindle fire, haven't decided yet. My brother and I are invited to two friends home tomorrow,we'll be playing cards

Hey nothing wrong with staying home and watching movies.... a lot safer & cheaper. How did you like Bridesmaids? Wasn't quite what I expeced.,.. the funniest part/character was the Gal who plays Molly in Mike and Molly, otherwise, not one I would recommend.

Not a fan either! Somehow I was expecting lots of funny lines ... Oh well. However, I did watch Horrible Bosses last night and thought that was hilarious. Had to get over some parts that Jennifer Aniston played/did in the movie, but it was actually quite funny!

Re: Happy New Year
We watched Horrible Bosses Sunday... and we were cracking up... yeah, some rather crazy bits for Jennifer ! But it was the perfect follow up to Margin Call which we watched first.
