The Girl with the dragon tattoo

I have spent all night watching the Girl w/the drgon tattoo and I'm almost done w/ the girl who plays w/fire(something like that).These movies are amazing! They have a bit of everything,torture,rape,murder,incest,nudity,suspense and so on.I don't know how many books and movies there are but I'm going to find them.Has anyone here read the books and/or seen the movies? My eyes r so tired ,especially from the subtitles lol

3 books and 3 Swedish films. The first American film comes out just before Christmas. I've only read the first two books so far. The first one was good, nut the second one was even better. I could not put it down.

Yeap ,I looked up that there were three and I'm going to watch the 3rd today,I can't wait! I'm definitely going to read the books too.I don't know about the American versions of the movie.I usually prefer to see the originals.Well,maybe

Athena, the buzz about the new movie is that it blows the Swedish films away. I want to see it really bad, but will wait and rent it later. I have a real aversion to sitting in a theater watching rape & torture scenes with family members.

I don't know if you've ever heard of it,but another great foreign movie I've seen is called The Vanishing.They made it in English too ,but I only saw it in Dutch-French.It's really good,although my brother hated it,but that doesn't say much lol

The Wedding Banquet was pretty good too,mostly in Chinese

Loved this series! Read all three in two days, I could not put them down. There IS a 4th book in the series but we will likely never get to read it. The author died and it's tied up in a legal battle between the family and the long time girlfriend. I haven't watched any of the movies yet, not sure if I will. They never ever live up to the expectations of the books. And as far as the one coming out, I am not a huge Craig fan... I wont be able to stop thinking about James Bond (and gasp- I don't much care for him, in any form, either)

The original movies were great, I read that the left some things out,they always do in movies,but I don't think it was too much,Each movie was over 2 hrs in length although it didn't feel like it.And I agree,I don't think we'll see the 4th book because the family offered her 2 million but she insists on the rights to it
