Busy Busy Busy
We've been having a garage sale at my SIL's MIL's house for the past 2 days. It takes me 35 minutes to get there. We took stuff out there Wed evening, then on Thursday I was out there by 7:30 am. Today there wasn't so much set-up, so I didn't have to be there until 8:00. I am so tired! Too old for this, but I'm the baby in this group so I get most of the heavy/grunt work. Everyone else has back problems! Tomorrow is the last day of the sale but I have to beg off because I have my niece's shower tomorrow. It's an hour away, and I have to bring burger, tables and chairs, punchbowl/ladle, present from Grandma, present from me, Ramen Noodle Salad, Meringue Flower cookies (I made them blue, because baby is a boy), jello salad...and OMG I hope I haven't forgotten anything else! I ordered a stroller from Target on May 25th, and it doesn't show as having been shipped yet. Is that normal?? So I guess I print a picture to put inside my card so she'll know what I got her. Better do that right now while I'm still sane.

LOL wow Lori! It seems anytime I order something for a specific purpose it is always delayed in shipping, I am just lucky like that. I ordered an E.L.F. set from Target before Thanksgiving (it was an awesome deal!) By Christmas it still hadn't come, and finally they sent me a notice in Feb. that they canceled my order because they were backordered and the deal (price) was no longer available! That was my second less than stellar deal with Target online... I will stick to the store.
Hope your garage sale is/was successful, they are SO much work!

Survived, and made $315. Cleaned out a lot of clutter, but already wish I'd have dug deeper.

nice haul! I always feel that way afterwards but never enough to do a second one, lol.

I know! I think I can keep up now by just going through stuff occasionally a nd donating to Salvation Army. I've been great about doing that with clothes, but we had so much stuff in the garage and basement that the kids don't use or want anymore that it was great to get most of it cleared out. It feels good.
