COOL use for old/yellowed newsprint or mags

I found this website and it's inspired me to hunt down some old newsprint in various stages of age. I mean, how cool are these collages? This would be so cute for kids to do. Christmas cards made like this would be adorable...like snowmen or presents, an angel. I'm going to hit Grandma's garage the next time I go downstate.

I've seen jewelry made of the recycled paper beads. Made in Africa by a fiar trade organization I think. I like them a lot. Do you know how to make the beads?

Yea I do it all the time. It's super easy and the different ways you cut the paper makes different bead shapes I'll have to look up a link cause my explaining might get you confused.

I don't cover the whole triangle with paste before I roll though. I get sticky enough hands without doing that! I wait till I've rolled then glue the ends. Just scanned this tutelage so not sure if it stated this but sometimes I cover with modge podge to help seal. Fancy people might use some kinda shiny sealer or whatever but I find modge podge works just fine.
