Well, I guess it's time to 'fess up

I spend a lot of time on Facebook; networking, talking with family, play Mafia Wars, Farmville and a lot other things they have. But I miss hanging out here (Bzz2 as I call it, lol).

I would love to connect with all of you and continue our friendship there. So, who hangs out?

Dee, do you know how to block those applications on your feed so they don't fill the entire thing up? Chelle mentioned it and I immediately blocked 7 or 8 applications that were driving me crazy.

yep, easy (but you might have to do each time you log in....) on left, where it says "friends" click on that, then under that it says status updates, click on that... and all you're gonna see is what your friends are posting w/o the other crap.

When things show in your feed click to the top left of that message and hide it, never show up again, and you don't have to redo it.

Pearly... your link doesn't work... I think someone has to be a friend to log onto your profile... if anyone wants to find me, search friends for Diane Decker Warneke...

I don't post a lot, nothing profound... but do have fun with it.

I hear ya! I do play a lot of games but only post things where other players can benefit. No one wants to know who I just became friends with! However, just when we had gotten it to the point where we wouldn't load everyone's pages with our game info, they changed the whole thing. Now we have to start over.

In order to hide these applications, you can do one of two things. Block from the page where they are posted. Be sure to only click hide the application and not the person. Most times they give you three choices...

Or, go to your account, on the far right hand top and edit them there. That process is more thorough.

Bizzeedee, I just requested a friend add from you. Thanks for letting me know about the link, too. I hope editing your application settings work because I have a lot of postings with games but let me know if you get them. I would hate it if you "hided" me

I am, but I DO Island paradise, and farmville....only those.

Pearly, absolutely the best tip I've every received from Fb... I used the hide method you suggested... and when I log in tomorrow and don't see all the mafia wars requests, farmville stuff and all the other stuff... I will be sooooo happy! Glad you're my friend now (well besides her, on FB) look forward to your regular postings!

This is a revelation. I don't know what to call people anymore! I've been calling you Dee...been calling Pearly Pearly...I'm so confused!

And yes, hiding applications is the bestest thing since sliced bread. I hide everything I dont do, and I find myself hiding at least 2 more things each day. My hider is gonna break soon ... LOL or bust!

I hear you, Chelle! I think they come up with new apps faster than we can delete them.

I'm on FB too, but a lot of you already know that! I'm just passing through here at the moment, but I'll add some of you later on.

Oh and I quit my FB games after getting hooked on Howrse.com. I'll probably get hooked on an app again soon though!
