Whats your to do list today?

Today IS A BAKING DAY- i ENJOY THE END RESULT, JUST NOT THE MESS i MAKE. however, i HAVE A LOVING HUBBY THAT HELPS WITH DISHES. also CHANGEING SHEETS ON ALL BEDS. So sorry about the capitals- guess I wasn't paying attention- although, guess I may have been yelling. My kids say I yell and don't even realize it.

I also love it AFTER a baking or cooking day is over. But I don't do them often because it's too overwhelming for me.

I love to bake! The freezer is always full of baking stuff. At christmas time, I give an assortment of my baking for each of the two single guys that live down the road from us. A little tray of stuff - a candy cane to top it off, they really appreciate it.

I am actually thinking this year to place an ad on the bulletin board - to sell baking. In a tray, perhaps consisting of 6 butter tarts, a honey pecan loaf, and assorted cookies. Another tray, maybe some nanaimo bars, unturtled bars...ah, ya'll get my drift.

Got a call just before 7 am from SIL. She was sick all night and was supposed to take MIL in for a couple tests at the hospital. Outpatient stuff. So that's what I did today. Half an hour to MIL's house, then an hour to the hospital. We were out of there within 2 and a half hours, so it wasn't bad.

Apparently my to do list said : do nothing, then take 2 hour nap....

Today, the plan is to go to Lowe's and price some stuff I will need to finish the bathroom, and figure the cost of the supplies for JJ's room. Then tomorrow when hubby has the day off, we will go get the stuff with his pickup truck.. then when I get back I really need to start primering the last two walls in the bathroom. I didn't get anything done on that yesterday because I was at my sisters all day learning more about her homeschooling set up. Hopefully by tomorrow afternoon, I can start painting the base coat.

I'm getting ready to go to my endocrinologist,and after thatI'm taking my pup to the vet.Doctor day at my house.

I have 2 purses to do for tomorrow, and alot of cleaning to do. Xander not only spreads toys all ver the house, but he hides them in cabinets, closets etc all over the house...so I will be on a hunt for the toy that made obnoxious noises all night.

Hope it all goes well. Do you regularly go to an endocrinologist? Or are you sick? I hope it's nothing serios.

For me, I'm hoping to clean house. But right now I have to get to where I'm more stable. I'd been coughing a lot at night so last night I took Nyquil and it's completely knocked me on my ass. 13 hours later and I'm still woozy.

I was sick,a few yrs ago I had a benign tumor removed from my head ,on my pituitary gland. Since then i have to go to the endocrinologist every couple of months,probably forever

I had a lot of things planned today, and they all went out the window when my friend called ans asked if I wanted to ride to Seabrook. I said Hel yeah, and we went. She wanted to look at a townhouse for sale, and it was very reasonably priced for that area, and we found out why too.
We got there, and the first thing I said to the realtor was " isn't this the site of the old List Mansion?", she was like. " um, well, uh, yeah maybe" so we almost immediately got back in the car and left....
People swear the old mansion was haunted, and alot of bad things happened to alot of people there, Bad bad mojo. We did have a nice lunch though, and drove back at what my friend calls my Warp speed.......LOL

I wanna hear the stories. I love a good ghost story. My old house was haunted- I swear it was, you can think I am nuts if you want but I know, lol. But it wasn't scary haunted like anyone died or anything, we were at peace with it.

Today has been annoying. Don't know why, but I have no patience today. Anyhow, I mostly tried to clean up the house a bit, put away the last few Halloween decorations, do the dishes, laundry, etc. I also burned a few copies of some of Quinn's CD's. I'd ripped the originals when I first opened them because I know how hard kids are on CD's. Quinn has been a handful today and I was hoping that getting to listen to his favorite music would calm him.

WE WANT TO HEAR REAL LIFE GHOST STORIES! A few creepy things happened around here after my mom passed. I woke up in the middle of the night once ,I slept on my belly,and felt like someone light sat on the back of my legs. I was so scared I couldn't move,I coudn't look. I just lay there motionless and said mommy? The feeling then went away. Another night I saw that in a rush I left something on the dining room table that shouldn't have been there. I looked at it and thought that if my mother was still here she would be upset I did that. A second later it flew off the table and towards my feet as if someone had thrown it towards me. Last thanksgiving at my sister's house ,the chandelier lights flickered as we sat there together.I remember someone said,that's strange,could it be mom telling us she is with us?It stopped.There are many more things that happened,too many to write here.If you do not believe in spirits/ghosts,believe!

Bill List was murdered there,by some boys he abused , it was a CREEPY big ass house.

After my Mom died, and then my Step dad passed I had an experience I cannot quite explain. I had fallen asleep on the couch, and had a dream that I got a collect call from Heaven. Th operator clearly said HEAVEN. I accepted the charges, and spoke to my Mom, and it was totally the way she would have spoken. It wwent something like this

Me: How are You?
Mom: I am ok, sorry it took me so damn long to call, the line is really long and there is only one damn pay phone here
me: How is Dalton( SD)
Mom: Oh, he is over there talking to all those old women....

It went like that for a few minutes.

When I woke up i had the phone in my hand, and the last number on my caller ID was "unavailable".......was kinda freaky, and I could have sworn it really happened.

I NEED to make 2 purses today. I NEED to put them on ebay, but I am sore from roofing, and have alot of other stuff to do. I figure dh will either suffer thru at work, or come home early, and I would like it to look like I did something....LOL
We roofed the garage this weekend, and both hurt...

I'm going to do some laundry and place an anon call to the dept of labor. I am a bit peeved my hubby is working day #23 in a row with out even offering him a day off somewhere. I'm fairly certain that is not legal but I guess I am going to find out.

I am cleaning house, like really cleaning. since my dad was here all week I havent done much. I have about 16 loads of laundry.

Plus, I have to get everything clean and ready to butcher roosters this week. as soon as it finally turns cold I need to get that done. They are just eating food and not doing me any good. I need to talk my grandfather into giving me his outside sink- that way I have a place outside with running water to clean and all. Specially when its time to do the rabbits.

and I have to fiqure otu what the nasty smell in my house is. It smells awful. Matt is home today, his stomache hurt this morning. I am pretty sure he just didnt want to go to school, but he will regret that soon. cause he is having to help me clean. LOL

Its so bad that I have 2 more loads of dishes waiting on the dishwasher and the floor cant be mopped till their done. LOL of course it doesnt help that we cleaned out the fridge and feezer - that produced alot more dishes. plus the BBQing we did on Friday, and all the cakes I made this week, I have lots of stuff that has to be washed cause of that. It all takes up alot of space in the dishwasher, so I cant wash it all at once.

I need to shampoo the carpet today too, but am sure I will run out of energy well before time for that.
Dusting, vaccuming, watering plants, c leaning fishtanks, doing laundry as it gets ready, cleaning the furniture in the liv ing room and scrubbing walls, floors, baseboards, and counters in the kitchen, plus rearranging some stuff since I have NO room in the kitchen will take all day.

Plus I need to pay bills. I hate paying bills. its soooo damn depressing.

It might be illegal there Tara, not here. My Dad is on month 5 of working 7/12's, ( 84 hours a week for a while will wear you out).
