chili cook off

I'm a member of our local chamber of Commerce... I just wanted to do so to stay involved of and aware of things going on in our town.

Each year, the city of Hopkinsville, hosts a Salute to Ft. Campbell, (the base is just 10 miles from town). Our chamber is a big part of this. The chili cook-off is the big finale and our group of Diplomats participate each year. I took lots of pictures, a couple of teamates took pictures, and I put them all together into Windows Movie maker. I provided the Chamber of Commrece with a copy and they posted my move on You Tube, and I want to share thiis fun and funny 4 minutes with you..

That was Captain Robert. That particular picture is of him getting ready to take our chili sample to the judges tables... I added that light beam during editing.... and did a poor job of it... it should have more 'beams' radiating from the shinny spot.

Dee! You have awesome legs! I was looking, because you said you were the one in capris, and holy cow, girl, I'd be in capris all year long if I had legs like those. How the heck did you get so tan this summer? We haven't had sun in Berea in weeks.

Actually, Karen, my legs are pretty pale for me, even this time of year. I quit walking the subdivision when I joined the Y this summer, just couldn't take the heat, and besides, wanted to join the yoga class, which I love!

They sure don't look it in those pictures. But I'd say the Y is doing you a lot of good. You look so trim and fit.

I'm loving it... the Y, yoga 3 days a week and treadmill or exercise equipment 3 others... and then take a day off! But yoga, my gosh, what a great gig! and thanks!
