My perfect day

Tomorrow I'm planning on having a perfect day. My kids are all back from the various family visits, summer programs, and camps but Zaven is leaving again Wednesday. No big deal except tomorrow is the only entire day that we've been together as a family in over two months. So I bought some DVD's and rented a few redbox ones too. We bought the ingredients for a macaroni and cheese casserole (one of the few dishes we all love) and I bought ice cream and potato chips and Doritos. And I also told them that we'd only cook for one meal. Breakfast is a fend-for-yourself meal, lunch will be the macaroni, and dinner we'll order pizza. No chores all day. But the older ones do have to help take care of the younger ones. It's supposed to rain, but I don't really mind. I'm just wanting to spoil them for a day.

It was such a pleasant day. I woke up to Quinn asking if I could "Footie go to market" his toes. Then I fell back asleep once Zaven got up to play with him. I woke up an hour later to all four of them giggling (I have no idea what about) and we pretty much spent the day watching movies, snacking, and napping. I took a nap with Quinn around 6 and he is still asleep. He was sick the week before last and only really started to feel well again in the past 4 or 5 days. So I guess all the playing he did this morning wore him out. I just hope he doesn't wake up in the middle of the night.
