Speaking of cakes
Okay, we have all marveled over Kelly and pearly's cakes.
Now its time to visit the idiot of cakes world.
www.cakewrecks.blogspot.com
I swear, I have spent thelast 3 hours laughin my hind end off. This is freakin awful. on a scary level.
The fact that people are out there that stupid (the sprinkles decorator strikes again is a good example... there are just people who shouldnt be allowed to breed.... ) is scary..
But I am now enthralled. Seriously.
I thought it was bad the year that my darling husband gave my sister in law money and told her to get me a birthday cake. She said "do you want anything on it? " He said "yeah, but I dont know what yet" so they discussed it. and since I love ANYTHING Texas it was decided to get me a cake with a Texas flag.
I wish I had a picture. honest I do.
If you have ever seen a Texas flag you will know that there is a blue rectangle with a single star on the left side, it goes the full length of the flag. THEN, there are 2 stripes, a white and a red. They are basicly all the same size, just the blue is standing up and the white and red are lying down. Its always white on top, red on bottom, and blue on the left. (not hard to remember) Unlike the AMerican flag, which the blue only takes up half of the left side and the stripes are red and white.
well I got my cake and it was a blue rectangle with the single star. and then red and white stripes. 17 of them.
So, not only did she have NO CLUE about the Texas flag, but she was ignorant about the American flag too!!
It was actually very very sad. That someone can live in a state and NOT know the flag. Especially this state! LOL PLUS, there is a flag flying in the parking lot of this store, and about a half dozen more if you walk outside and look, at the other business'!!
She brought it home anyway, not really realizing how bad it was. Half way home she slammed on the breaks realizing what exactly was wrong.
But of course its the thought that counts.

Re: Speaking of cakes
Erin the second one, the cake that started it all, just made me shake my head....Everytime I see something like that and I just cannot fathom it, my father tells me, "Dear, it takes all kinds of people to make a world."

Re: Speaking of cakes
Chelle, thanks so much for that link. I was laughing so hard I was crying, when my son happened to call to tell me he was on the road. He wanted to know what was up. I told him I was looking at a cake disaster website and laughing so hard I was crying. He said "Oh! Like where they're delivering a cake and it falls?" All I could say was "No!" and started laughing again. I'll have to show him. He's a big fan (NOT!) of the misplaced apostrophe. LOL

I mean, it looks like a wookie in a clown suit. A wookie who shaved his face and then used too much self-tanner, I mean.
That is classic.
