Just a quick reminder

Kelly's daughter Wynonna is in the hospital again for further evaluation of her colon. For those of you who aren't aware, she's been very, very ill on and off for quite some time and currently they don't have a definitive diagnosis. She's missed a lot of school and spent her 16th birthday getting a colonoscopy. The hospital she's being treated at is 6 hours from their home and they are struggling financially. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers.

Thank you, that was very sweet of you to post that yesterday Karen. And the fact that I am replying means that we are home! We just got home about 45 min ago (about 11:50 pm our time). I am not going to stay on long. I am exhausted! But the news is better. The results show that she has made significant healing since she was hospitalized there this summer. Where the damage to her transverse colon was soo bad, it will take a while to heal. They still did a couple biopsies in areas where there was still active inflammation. It's a wait and see between the biopsies and the next couple months of Remicaid treatments before they dare give a definitive diagnosis. His best guess as this point, without saying it was definite was Crohns. Only because with Ulcerative Colitis the inflammation tends to be all over the intestines, but with Crohns, it tends to be in a specific part, and this is how Wynonna's is presenting.. but he won't say for sure at this time. I have to go to bed now before I fall asleep at the computer lol.

Then I will keep praying that it's good news. I'm glad you made it back home safe and sound.

Glad you are back with potential answers Kelly!!!!!! I hope teh next couple months go smoothly, the treatments help and you get a definite diagnosis to work with. Tell Wynonna we are thinking of her.
