Thank you so much everyone. When I talked to her today she wasn't sure where she will be for the next few days. Apparently her father has a rental property that he owns but was not renting out at the time. If it made it through the storm, they might stay there a while. I will call her tomorrow or Wednesday and get an address where we can send the coupons. I'm also not sure about mail service in the area because of the elecric outage. I'll get details on that when I call her.

Oh no... I just read this, and am completely saddened!!

I would like an address too...I would be happy to go through my stockpile I have oodles
of trial sized stuff and other items. Would just need an address where a package can be received.

When Erin is able to have a comcrete address to mail things to, will you ask her if it's OK to give to us who want to help ?

I would gladly buy her things that she needs, I have the advantage of working at Target and getting some great deals. I also have some gift cards that I would be more than willing to send her. I'm not much of a couponer, but I can help in other ways. I would just want to make sure it's able to make it there safely.

Also, I'm sure she'll need everything, but if you happen to speak with her, a list of her greatest needs would be great. I'm sure I could come up with some clothes, baby clothes, etc ... but I'd want to concentrate on her greatest needs first, if it'll help her and her family feel more secure

I now have phone service. Electric is still out and the damn generator quit last night. I have someone in town picking up a spark plug. it went about midnight

I havent spoken to Erin. I will try to call her later. I am close to her so I will see what I can get together for the baby. I might have a few things.

anyway, I am on battery power, I just had to come in once I had phones and give y'all all my love and appriciation.

I left a message on Erin's cell for her to send me a list of what her needs are and an address that I could PM to people interested in helping out. I'll post back and let you know what she needs ASAP.

I talked to erin tonight. She is in pretty good spirits. Kinda numb. Everything is or was under 5 feet of water. And the Swamp Gods didnt like her decorating scheme. They rearranged the furniture to the rooms they thought it should go. THey have been working to save what they can. She is hot, tired and nasty. BUT the good news is, she does now have electric at her dads. So no more spit baths and ice cold showers!

Karen, she did say she tried to call you back, but couldnt get you. She said her home address is good. They will be going there periodically and checking it. And the water has receded.

OK, then. Anyone interested in helping out PM me. And remember, you can help without spending money by sending her coupons for all the things she'll need to replace. Cleaning supplies will probably top the list because she'll have to clean everything worth salvaging. Storage containers like the ZipLoc Big Bags would probably also be super handy for keeping the cleaned items clean while she's dealing with the mess.

I think I already have her address, so this weekend I will see what I can put together for her. I checked what samples I have that I can pass on, and it's not much, so I will have to go the coupon route at least. I am gonna see what I can do though.

Did she mention anything specifically as to what is needed???
