Pretty damn accurate. They are attracted to WHITE, my garage is covered in the nasty things.

NOW, ask me how accurate the weathermen are? Have you noticed the eerily similar-ness to 3 years ago?

ill ill ill!!!

SO gross!! I am so sorry you guys have that. I would never leave the house...

Yesterday, I was leaving Walgreens and saw what appeared to be a sicada on my front dash. Luckily I was able to make it across the street to the gas station and jumped out. Hit the window to try and get it to move.. after 10 times of back and forth, it finally flew out. *shivers*

We have Cicadas too, they are harmless, and don't smash on your car too much.

Missy, cicadas only look scary. They are super gentle. Zoe and Caly spent hours this summer playing with them. They would let them climb their arms and rescue them when they got trapped in the sandbox. They LOOK awful, but are not dangerous at all.

Mine only catches the toads in the basement ( there is always a couple... no idea where they come and go from though, I'm guessing the sub pump that pipes to the creek.
She started that crap with little garter snakes. I do NOT do snakes. Granted they are little and not too bad but it only leads to bigger creepier ones.....I told her that if she keeps touching them her hands will fall off, hasn't touched one since.

ILL! I just don't like bugs, and things that fly friek me out. Maybe I should go on Maury and have him scare the fear out of me. lol

Timmy's Godfather's fiance ate a cicada last summer when they were out. She just popped one in her mouth like it was nothing. YUCK!

Scott looked up all kinds of Cicada recipes online this summer but I flat out told him no. No cooking bugs in the kitchen. No eating things the girl's "pets".

And yes, they have other pets. One dog, more cats than I can count. (There were many, many kittens this summer and we were so busy we didn't get organized to give them away.) But they love ALL animals so when they realized the cicadas were "tame", they wanted to pet them and hold them and take care of them. Go figure.
