Outrageous Cost of Computer Programs

I just learned that I am expected to buy Deamweaver CS3 for a Web Design course. It is $300 at least. Does anyone know where I could get a cheaper version of it?

Try doing an search for acedemic editions (AE).......They are usually much cheaper. You can compare on www.pricegrabber.com or shopzilla.com but make sure you specify the AE version.

Here is one I found within about 10sec. at ProAdvange.com.......SOme companies will require a copy of an ID either as a student or employee.....A great deal of them wont.

Amazon isn't any better. There are cheap books about it, but the program itself is $400, and the used and new starts at $300.

You should be able to get a student discount on software, you have to ask. (Not sure if you get it through the school or through the supplier)
