Amazing!

I'm loving the Olympics. In a big way, it's the best of humanity. Not just the people who work so hard to kick ass in their sport. But also the people who don't give up, keep fighting even when they know they can't win. Just the determination to do their best is uplifting. And I was reading last week about the Canadian sailor Lawrence Lemieux in the 1988 olympics. He was in 2nd place during his race but stopped to rescue two Singapore sailors who had capsized their boat in a nearby race. I was just so moved because you know he had to have worked for years to get to the olympics and it would be awful to give up your dreams, but he put that aside to help someone who needed help.

yeah, the girl watching the tv in the background while she is also talking to the camara about having no bars? For AT&T?? Lol, I love those commercials and am happy to see new ones. The first time I saw the commercial, I was like who in the h-e-double hockey sticks is Micheal Phelps? Then I saw something about him and the Olympics and was like, ooooh..

I feel bad. I have not watched any of it. I just do not have an interest in watching ANY sports this year. I haven't even watched my beloved Cubbies play any games except the Crosstown series, and only watched them because of the rivalry between my brother and I with our hometown teams.

That guy will have more gold around his neck than Mr. T. Wow... He is amazing!! He is part-fish for sure! He makes it all look so easy.
