Did you get into any of the tornados or heavy wind that hit the WP area? And I heard on the news this morning that Poplar bluff had an earthquake yesterday. Did you feel it? Everything was shaking here just from the thunder!! It rattled my windows all night!! I was thinking about you last night since I don't know where around WP you are. My BIL lives in Koshkonong and he said that he got hammered, but there was no damage.

We made it through. I think tornados may have passed right over us. We are down in a holler and they tend to go over us. It was pretty wicked, but no damage at our house. I don't know about any damage in our area yet, as I just got up. Will have to call hubby and ask him later.More rains are on the way too. It feels like we need an ark!
I heard about that earthquake, but I don't think I felt it. If I did, I thought it was the storm. We were sitting at the table palying Trivial Pursuit, and heard a pop and saw light shoot out of the laundry room affraid It had hit our breaker box and come in the house, but everything was fine. Came through the phone lines too a few times. That is why I was shutdown and offline until it passed. We have had a computer fried before.
Oh and I am in the country between Pomona and Peace Valley.

This happens so often here, we are used to it now.It is no big deal, until the damage hits your place! However, no matter how many storms we get, two of our dogs will never get used to it. One went through Katrina in the French Quarter and she is a huge baby in storms now. She is the worst one and that is lucky for us because the other dog that is afraid of storms weighs in at almost 100 lbs. It is quite a circus here when the storms hit!

Sorry it took so long to reply. After my last posts, I haven't even been online. We made it through with no damage here at all. There were lots of lightning strikes close by though. But wow...I'm glad you didn't have a fire from that one, Honey! Yeah, I'm afraid of my computer frying too. I always shut it down and get offline. But there have been so many storms coming through lately. Finally warmth and sunshine this weekend. Woo HOO!! Honey... 902459 But they will be back next week.
