Has anyone revised their opinion of MyPoints or the new system?

I am ok with the new system, and always have been. I don't like mypoints,

nope, dont like mypoints.

The new system is fine. They want minimum reporting and participation, and I am happy with that.

About Shaloha, I feel exactly the same: like I got screwed. I like that I'm getting $200 in rewards, but if the value had stayed roughly the same during Shaloha, I'd have gotten almost twice that. I could really use it. So I still think it was shitty of them to make such a substantial cut to the value of work that we had already done.

As far as the new system goes, it doesn't provide any incentive to me to do more than the minimum. I could earn MyPoints, but only a very few and considering the amount of effort vs. the amount of payment, it's not worth it for me. And I am still bothered by the fact that so much of our advancement is outside of our control.

One thing I hadn't noticed about the new system is that the more honeycombs you have, the more it requires to get to the next one. This partially addresses the problem of the agents who aren't offered campaigns not being able to earn as many honeycombs. So that might be better than I had thought. But the old system never offended me as much as the Shaloha points ratio did. If they offer us less for future work, we're free to just do less work and not worry about it. It was Shaloha that bothered me, where we were promised a great new system, rewards for 40 points, and no one said a word about charging us 40% of the value of the work we had already done (and therefore couldn't decide whether or not the pay was worth the work) to pay for the convienience.

I like mypoints, been a member for over a year and have gotten a couple of gc's previous to shalala. I was kinda psyched at getting 50 bucks worth of gc's for the transition (only been a bzzagent for about a year as well). But it will be a long time at max 55 mypoints a report before I can cash out again. So I'm looking at it as a one time thing. It's o.k. I don't feel it is really a good rewards program at all, since I figure it's suppose to be also a motivator to report bzz, and I'm not feeling motivated at all to report above the mininum 2.

Everything isn't great, but I'm happy with the system. I don't like having to wait 30 days for my bzz points to be converted to MyPoints... but guess there's not much that can be done. Once again, if you don't like the system, can't live with the system... well just quit. You don't even have to give 2 weeks notice

I am happy with the system... I am okay with MyPoints... but I am VERY DISAPPOINTED in the value of our reports.

if they ALL show, i will be pretty happy. its more work now. but i am ok with that. i dont like the "cookies" that they put on my computer. i still think that 250 cookies for 15 odd minutes bouncing around mypoints is excessive! and i always come away with a coolsavings data minor too off them. its all a trade off. i love Bzzing and i love trying new products. that does not change.
