Anyone play bunco? I've been playing for 7 years... love it. Will be hosting at my house in two days. We have 12 players, 3 tables, and the host serves dinner and snacks... we each put in $5 and we have 5 people who go home the end of the evening.

When I first heard about it, thought "oh boy, what a loser of an evening" but honestly, after the first night, I was hooked. In fact, I play in two groups. The Newcomers Club which I first joined 7 years ago, and we now have a neighborhood group with 18 months old!

Man, I have no life outside of my house. That sounds like such fun to me. I'm married with four kids aged 14 to 1 and a half, so all I do is help with homework and school projects and diapers and dishes. I know I'll miss it when it's over and I finally have time for evenings out with other grown-ups, but I still wish I had time to just hang out with friends.

Dice. No cards. We call it a "no-brainer" game. You just pick up the dice and roll them, hope that the number being played that round comes up. At the end of each round, we all change tables and partners. And we eat. And eat. And some of us drink wine, some coke, and some just plain water. But the best part of the night is, it's a girl's kick back kind of night.

Oh, and the end of the year, we have a big bunco game and potluck... we invite our guys along and they get to play too. Now talk about competitive Rolling Eyes The guys treat it like it's a football game!!

The object? A Girls Night Out bounce Seriously, that's pretty much it. To put the rules of the game in this message would take too long, but you could real "general" rules here http://www.buncogameshop.com/rules.html

I say general, because all clubs are different in the way they play the game. We have 12 gals play at 3 tables. I hosted here last night, and boy am I tired this morning. I always like to have everything cleaned up before I go to bed.

But, I won $20 last night. I rolled the most buncos cheers Oh, and we only play once a month... definitely not weekly!
