Post by chelle Sun Jun 01, 2008 10:38 pm

I have been trying for an hour and a half to send my mom a referal.

I get it all typed in go to send it and a stupid icon of a computer comes up and tells me I entered te wrong URL.

I didnt enter a URL. THEY did. why wont it work? seriously?

She is not real computer savvy. I have to send her links to sign up. She doesnt do well on the net.

Plus I am TRYIN to give it a shot. I am HONESTLY tryin. it wont let me.

And yes I switched to firefox to do it. it takes about 4 minutes to load now. so that is an improvement.

Since I am trying to use this God Forsaken contraption I also decided to print out some coupons. it so doesnt like me. I print them out just fine from coupon world (after a load time ofaround 5 minuts. But from there it wont ever do it.

I am really trying, and its showing me just what I didnt want to see. Sad

Well, I found a solution! Smile

I had it on the coupon thing. FInally got all the ones I wanted. So I told it to print. 10 minutes later it was still sending the coupons to my printer so I got up, cleaned the kitchen, let the dogs in, gave them treats, put them to bed, let the moron dog back out, let her go out to pee. brought her back in, gave her a treat and put her BACK to bed. then came in here, still no printed coupons.

So I went to the actual site. (its amazing, you just type the addy in the address bar.. and it takes you right to the site.)

waited while it brought up the coupons, picked out the ones I wanted ( and there were more avalible), told it to print, went to pee, came back, and OMFG. GUESS WHAT??

yep. it was freakin DONE!

I went back to mypoints and low and behold, it was still FREAKIN telling my printer to print.

so I closed out that window, and have been surfin the web since then.

sadly just having it open slows me down.

But again, I am not whining about bzzagent, I am not being ungrateful, and I am not trying to be rude, or lie.

I am saying, that website SUCKS. Its not for me. I wish it was. I would love to get a gas card. Hubby told me tonight that there is a good chance that I wont be able to do my PTA next year cause of the gas prices. I NEED to get more money coming in. I'll click all day if it means I can do PTA. But alas, I aint clickin just for carprel tunnel. I cant afford the Gas to to get to the Dr.

What an ordeal!

At least I won't have to go through that ....... there are no printable coupons for Canucks on "that" website (that I could find anyway)!

hummm...did you download the "print coupon" program?

I was going to offer to print them out for y'all and mail them to you but that would not benefit you as far as earning points.
If you just want to save money on the products I'll be glad to do that for you.

This may be a job for rikostan, he's puter pro plus a Mypoints user.

The coupons on mypoints look like they come from coupons.com. I use that site regularly, and sometimes I have the same issue of non-printing coupons. What I usually do is just hit my backspace button once, and it will take me to a page where I see a computer and a printer connected by blinking dots - then my coupons start printing. I have no idea why it does that, but it works - maybe it's worth a shot here?

Soory gals, but I am not going ot be much help here. I use Linux on my main machine, so I don;t mess with the coupon app at all. I imagine it all has to do with dialup.

I'll mess with it some tomorrow on my wife's PC and see what I can find out.

Sorry I wasn't more help!

I do the same thing.

Another thing to keep in mind is that if you print enough coupons through MyPoints, it'll tell you when you've reached your limit, and then you won't be able to print any more...that's when you go to coupons.com and print as many as you can again!

Says my boyfriend, "Do you really need 6 of the same coupons?"

That's what I tell him - he's a member too, so I'd love for him to print up some as well.

I actually have no idea when the points from those post. I only really keep an eye on stuff like the book and DVD clubs, and the purchases I make. I should check out my Account Statement.

I wish I had more - for those of you with dogs, there is a printable $4 coupon for purina food on giveabowl.com - I would print about 90000000 of those puppies if I were able to!

I do go to coupons.com, I even posted the affilitate information, that is what I was saying, mypoints is an affiliate, they get a little bit of money each time you run a coupon through them. So i thought it was funny that they wouldnt get money off me since I couldnt print from their site.

I do haev the coupon printer thing DL. I AM able to print them FROM coupons.com. BUT the mypoints page for coupons.com doesnt work.

I printed out 6 pages last night. WHILE the mypoints page was still saying it was 'sending them to my printer'. Coupons.com was printing them FROM my printer.

In my town the only place that will let you use printed coupons is Walmart. Try to use one anyplace else and they almost bring out the tar and feathers.
