I was reading the Bee Log, and imagine my surprise to see that the Number One Bzz agent is posting on there.

She has over 34,000 bzz points.

I always wondered who was number one, if it was a male or female. She is at 182.7 quality points. Nobody is even close to that number.

I know.. I wish she would post here. I did read one of her Bee Log posting saying that in the time that she was spending on that board, she could have written 10 bzz reports.

First, I am not a math whiz but it looks like it is around $5600 in $50 GCs. That is if it is 8 times 35000.

No. Under the old system of 100 points = $10, that would be roughly $3,500. Now, she'd have around $2,100 depending on what gift certs she chose. Overall, Barbie lost $1,400 in the change over.

Did answer you that she is ok? I just figured she didn't really like the board after checking it out.

I wish Barbie would post here more! I do think that if she cashes out all in one year she might actually have to claim that on her taxes (I am assuming she is an american agent). Not sure, though.

You're required to report income over $600 from any one company, I think.

If you "earned" over $600 in GC through the wags debacle earlier this year, you had to claim on your taxes as income. Now if we're all supposed to worry about claiming or not, I don't know. Because you're "buying" the GC with points, not just getting them back.

Makes my head spin to think about it.

Post by wtr27513 Fri Oct 24, 2008 4:25 pm

So far I received a little of $2,000.00 in gift cards, most of which went to my 3 adult children and the rest to my husband. I used five or six all by myself, mostly buying lights that float around our backyard in-ground pool, a few things for the house and of course and as usual stuff for my 3 adult children, my 2 grandchildren and my husband. I'm one of those people who would rather give than receive, it is so much fun to watch someone's face when they receive something from me or when they are opening a wrapped gift!
Barbie
PS: I'm still working on having my husband get me a new Dodge Charger but with my (birthday present from him a few years ago) Chrysler Sebring Limited Convertible only having about 3 thousand 500 miles on it (only about the 500 were put on by me). anyway we aren't trading it in, we always give our old cars to one of our adult children who ever is next on the list. The youngest son Tim who is now 28 got my Monte Carlo Z-34 when I got the Chrysler Sebring Limited Convertible. He didn't come up from North Carolina to Massachusetts to pick up the Monte Carlo Z-34 for a year only after we paid for 2 plane tickets (didn't want him to drive back to North Carolina all alone) and only because he blew the engine in his Yellow 5.0 Limited Mustang Convertible (AGAIN) and has done it twice again since then. The Chrysler Sebring Limited Convertible is promised to my 38 year old son who lives in Fairfax, Virginia because he is next in line to get one of our old cars. Old to me is not a few years old but even though the car is fun to drive it is just too small and after I get out of it I am in so much pain I spend the rest of the day in bed with my bottles of prescription pain medication.
