Anyone get in this morning?

I have been trying for an hour and a half, I cant get into the site. Matter of fact I havent been able to get in since the first day.

I should have just let my bzz poitns expire instead of letting My points make money off of them..

What are you having trouble getting in to? I've gotten into both MyPoints and BzzAgent this morning without problem.

I have had no problems getting in to either site. Have you tried clearing your cookies/cache?

I haven't had a problem at all. I've gotten into both sites every time.

I have been at mypoints getting points for about the last hour or so. It is running slow for me on broadband, so I am guessing traffic is just too high for you to get in on your rural dial up. That really sux, I am sorry. I have only had broadband a few months now, so I don't forget what it was like for me for all those years. I do understand and it sux royal

Not yet, but my pc is running pretty hard. I'm doing a lot of stuff that is taking up most of the CPU. I have been able to get in BzzAgent, though.

No problems here at all. We have two different xbox 360s being played online as well as a ton of stuff downloading and I can get right in.

All I have open is this and my points.

and yes, being speed deficiant does suck royally.


YEs my computer is clean. and I havent been able to get in since the first night. Thats why it sucks.

I have had no issues with it. Did you email them?

All they will tell me kath is there is nothing wrong withtheir site and its my dial up or that i am full of crap.

When you are on dial up and espcially as slow as I am (24.6) you just know better than to try differnt sites.

I called a friend, she has a little faster dial up (40) and was able to log in, she told me that I do have an account and she said that me getting there would be a miricle.

I was able to get in a few times, but never got past where it wanted to me to sign in. But like I said, that was the first day.

and just getting the first page to load takes well over 7-8 minutes.

Do you use firefox? If not I suggest getting it, and installing adblock and noscript. With both of those items you can block certain images and script run on webpages. It might speed up your browsing experience.

Getting those items downloaded will be a pain on dialup, but it will be worth it in the long run.

I wouldn't use anything else.. it just makes surfing so much nicer..
all those pretty colored tabs and spellcheck and cool stuff..
and it does a great job on all things like adblock and cooliris ..

Thanks rikostan. I will try it. I already have ccleaner, avganti and avgspyware. Take those off? or keep them all?

Can I use IE still?? I really would not want to have to transfer all my bookmarks. plus I really like IE ( I know, noone else does. but its much better than... oh hell... what was the other one?? sarted with an N?? netscape? )

I will try to find the DL later this evening and get started. I know it will take all night.

I always have both but mostly use firefox. My bookmarks were automatically imported. not everything works with firefox, but the majority of it will. It is smoother, faster.... love it.

I have a referral button on my page for firefox with google toolbar. just click my blog link and it in the top left.... a graphic.

http://mozilla.com is the firefox site. Once it is installed you can go to Tools and Addons to get more addons. The No Script and Adblock plugins are a must.

You can keep your current spyware protection too, if you like. I prefer Spybot myself.

IE will not be touched at all. Firefox will ask you if you want to import your IE bookmarks, and I think you should. It won't take them away from, IE, just add them to Firefox.

Netscape is the daddy of Firefox too

The Noscript plugin takes awhile to get used to. It will block all java script from every site, until you tell it to allow it for each site. You can choose to allow it every time, or just temporarily. I only allow sites I trust 100%.

I know I can get further with Firefox than I can with IE when I try to log in at MyPits. I still haven't been able to actually log in either so I feel for you. I'm still considering telling the rewards team what they can do with the points.
