Congrats on winning! I've never heard of a draw for a gun before! Is it one you can use when you're hunting?

One goes hunting, or to a range. I don't hunt, but it's a good activity. The laws which regulate it are so good that a species which is legally hunted in modern america almost always has a healthier population than a species which is not hunted. The exceptions to the rule are usually vermin. And all the money from hunting liscenses, fees, etc. is funneled into either conservation or game warden programs to make sure people follow the laws and don't hunt endangered species. Plus the resulting food is organic and has no shipping costs.

Sounds like a great fundraiser. I like the idea of ticket packages. I may have to pass that idea on to some local fundraisers.

Thank y'all!! I am still so excited!! The last time I won a gun its way to big for me to use. I am little so I need a little pistol. its a grown man gun. LOL



dee, we hunt, we get together with family and target shoot, all the things karen said much better than I could! . And yes, I protect my home with them.

Rebecca, This is a .22 so I cant hunt deer or turkeys with it. I can hunt vermin, but I dont. I only hunt what I can or will eat. LOL Not to be confused with getting rid of a possum in my yard. or a skunk. I DO that, but dont eat them. LOL too greasy.


ANd yes, at the 2 banquets I go to every year I would say close to 50 guns are given away or auctioned off. Its the main reason for going! LOL And at least once a year I buy a raffle ticket for somene who is sick or such and they are raising money for them for a gun.

The kids will get to use it next year when they do 4H shooting sports.

Lori, LOL yep. THis is always a raffle ticket I will buy. and I do like the set up. Like I said its like 35 prizes, some worth 10.00 some worth 300.00. you get a packet of tickets aND GET TO PUT THEM IN TE BUCKET YOU WANT. sorry for caps lock, typing one handed.

one year I won from like 8 of the buckets (but none of them were guns) and some years I dont win t all. but I feel I have a better chance

and before someone gets up in arms. I do have to go to a FFL (legal gun shop) and do the background check before i gwt the gun. I didnt just get to walk in from the local nut hospital, buy a ticket, get drawn and leave wiht a gun. its just like if I bought it.
