P&PT
Please add my uncle to your prayers. He is 92, and was admitted to ICU this morning with Congestive heart failure.
He is my great uncle, but a "double uncle"...my grandmother and her sister married my grandfather and his brother. Anyway, he taught me to fish, hunt and frog, taught me to clean a turtle, and noodle a catfish to ride a 4 wheeler, and stay out of the cesspool.
.He taught me to cook.. I used to spend summers with them and their grandkids, and he was our best playmate. I might go this evening or tomorrow to Louisiana, IF dh fixes my damn car today, if not I may steal his truck and go anyway...

Re: P&PT
I hope things work out so you can get to see him. If not, send your love via whoever is there at his bedside. My dad has been talking a lot about reaching his "Expiration Date", but nobody really knows when it's coming. My grandma has congestive heart failure and is doing better now than she was a year ago. She thought she had reached her expiration date but she was very wrong!

Re: P&PT
We went yesterday, they would not let us see him, but my Aunt was there. Apparently guests are exciting him and raising his BP.
They did some tests and he did have a heart attack, and will be going home in a few days if he continues t o improve.

Re: P&PT
I'm so sorry you didn't get to see him, but it's great news that he's improving despite the heart attack and that he'll be able to go home soon. Hopefully he'll make a full recovery.
