Sports bra recommendations?
I need to get DD a GOOD sports bra. We have gotten them in the past, and frankly, they are not standing up to the challenge. I don't care what it costs, but my kid has to be able to play softball without blacking her eyes.....Suggestions?
I have never had this problem, so am clueless.........

I have that problem, lol. I like these http://www.championusa.com/Champion/Categories/Women-Champion/Women_ShopByCategory-Champion/Women_SportsBras-Champion.aspx
Re: Sports bra recommendations?
I have a problem too... I've been buying and tossing Hanes... they creep, the elastic wears out... fortunately, I'm not shy in yoga class about adjusting it... So I've come to the conclusion 2 for $8 isn't a good bra... but not sure I want to spent $31 and up either.
Oh and I definitely couldn't order online... I have to try on, try on and try on... would hate to have to do the mail return over and over to find the right size.

Re: Sports bra recommendations?
I don't quite have this problem although finding decent sport bras that I like is a pain.
My friends have done the double up method at points in time...usually sports bra or a good supportive regular bra followed by one of those fitted sport or yoga tops

Re: Sports bra recommendations?
My SIL said in boot camp the girls who were well endowed had good luck using two sports bras doubled up. She also said that one girl wore one of the two in a too-small size for the long marches and hikes. She just made sure not to wear it too long that way. I would think that a ball game might not be too long depending on the fit.

doubling up wouldn't solve my problem... when you're doing downward dog or Warrior with combo moves... it just creeps... I'd wear a regular bra, but again with downtward dog, the boobs ball out of the cups LOL

oops...what I was thinking and typing doesn't match. They double up by wearing a good bra and sports bra or a sports bra and one of those tight and kinda restrictive gym/yoga shirts. and sometimes two slightly different sports bras.

Re: Sports bra recommendations?
I ordered her a champion one, from tara's site. The problem is, she is 12, and wears a 38D, so finding one at wal mart is out of the question. We get alot of her Bra's at Lane Bryant or VS, but neither had a sports bra that fit.....go figure.

Re: Sports bra recommendations?
I highly recommend looking for one at the Title Nine women's sportswear website. They do exhaustive testing so they can make the best recommendations. You can search by cup size or go to their Bra Genie to help you out.

Re: Sports bra recommendations?
Glad you found something! It must be hard for her. She's too young to enjoy the perks of a big chest.
Re: Sports bra recommendations?
She doesn't complain much, we did ask the Dr when she would be a candidate for a reduction and he bluntly told her she would have to get off her ass and lose 35 lbs before he would even consider it. He feels sure if she loses it her Chestnuts will shrink
