Hit the Sears Jackpot!

On July 7th we went into our local Sears and placed an order for a 3 piece bistro patio set. It was a small table about 24"x24" and 2 swivel rocker chairs. We had seen the set at a larger Sears and knew it was comfortable but we couldn't fit it into the car we had with us at the time. The set was supposed to be in on August 13th and we have been hounding our Sears store since then. On Thursday the manager finally called to tell me the set was not available any more. I said I'd be in for a refund, but when I got there they showed me that the larger 7 piece set had been marked down to $279 (same exact sale price we paid for the little bistro set). He said we could have that large set for the same price - even exchange.

Ordered small table and 2 swivel rockers.





Got dining table, 2 swivel rockers and 4 regular chairs!

Awesome! I love saving money on something I was planning on buying any way. It's much better than buying something you aren't sure you want/need because of a good deal.

oh how wonderful!! And your right, those chairs are SOOOO comfertable!! Congrats!!

Forgot to mention, the original price on the 3 piece set was $349 and the 7 piece set was $799. We love it! There's a tiny tear in the fabric (meshy stuff) of one of the regular armchairs, about 1.5 inches long. We knew that when we said we'd take the set. I'm going to try to fix that so it doesn't continue to rip further.
