A Glass Fix for Karen
This is definately not some of my best work. I decided to solder this when I was all stressed out from moving. Oh well, the lamp is functional, I guess that's the main thing! LOL!

That's beautiful... and artists are always their worst critics... I love stained glass, but never had the gumption to try it.

Re: A Glass Fix for Karen
Thankyou everyone. It looks a bit better in that pic, but in real life the sloppy soldering is hard to miss! LOL!
I think I have a pattern for a dogwood around here somewhere chelle. I'll have to go through my stuff and see what I can find.
Oh and Honey, that was a typo. I was multitasking and accidently hit "l" instead of "n." I fixed it so no one else gets confused though!

writing a blog, and reviewing a book you've read -- girl, that's artistic, just a different way of expressing one's self. Now stand up straighter and be proud of what you do, do

Re: A Glass Fix for Karen
why wont the little scooter guy show up for me? Now he has dissappeared from my smileys, the tank too
Re: A Glass Fix for Karen
Thanks everyone. Nope I don't sell them -- so far almost everything I've made has been given away at Christmas and birthdays. I still have that lamp, a Christmas ornament, and my first ever project though.
Tara, that lamp took me quite a while to make. We were moving at the time and I was just working on it when I was getting fed up every night (hence the sloppy soldering). Plus it has a lot of small pieces that took a while to get the right fit.

I totally admire you, I lack the patience for anything like that. I prefer to spend free time knocking down walls and things of the sort, lol.
I see my little scooter guy came back
