Blogspot: Tips, Tricks, Comments
I am trying to get my friends into the freebies, samples, coupons. So intstead of emailing it all out, I started a blog. I was thinking about a messageboard, but figured most of it would go unused.
I've never used Blogspot before, so I am looking for any tips tricks or just general comments.
Any help is appreciated. Feel free to post your blog link here to. For feedback etc. Thought maybe we could learn from each other.

I have a blog, too. But it's mostly just because I like talking, LOL! I don't have tricks, but I'd be happy to follow you. I can always use more freebies!
Re: Blogspot: Tips, Tricks, Comments
I signed up to follow yours as well.
I am not much of a talker, but maybe following your blog will rub off on me. LOL I'll feel encouraged to talk more.

Remember to post regularly. If you let weeks go by people start to lose interest.
Re: Blogspot: Tips, Tricks, Comments
Sorry, I'm no help. I had a blog once, but it didn't take long for me to get bored with it. Guess blogging just isn't for me!

Yep, you have to keep at it. I havent blogged in over a month, and folks are starting to email me and make sure I am still alive.
Re: Blogspot: Tips, Tricks, Comments
Honestly, I love my blog. It lets me escape to my own world, to let me write what I want to write, a place where there is somewhat a John Prine Paradise. I find the blog enables me to say what I want, when I want, and no BS.

What is the following thing? Do people who follow you get a little ding like they hit the jackpot in Las Vegas when they are following you? Is it blog spot etiquette to follow along side ones who follow you?

If you follow someone, then on your dashboard page (where you can write new posts or edit them or change your settings) you will see a box that shows the first few lines of the newest post of the people you follow. I follow Tara's blogs. When she writes a new post, I see the name of it and part of the first sentence. It just makes it easy to keep up with someone's blogging.

I love to blog... I also recently learned a great tip from PIoneer Woman in how to upload the picture right, so it's nice & big. Create an account at flickr.com, upload the pictures there, then copy the URL of that picture when it's big, upload it on your blog (from the website instead of your computer), and it won't take up as much space that we have allotted for pictures/memory. Pictures will show up BIG and much NICER!!
Re: Blogspot: Tips, Tricks, Comments
If you go to the www on the right of the screen, it's there.
I'll type it out too: www.twocuteblondies.blogspot.com

Thanks for the tip!
I have a photobucket account and will give that a try.

Re: Blogspot: Tips, Tricks, Comments
Does anyone know where to locate a countdown calendar? I had one on google for John Prine in Redrocks, when I went to do a regain, it was gone. Google does not have many gadgets for clock countdowns and I am not educated enough to do this cut and paste thing, I am an old woman.

Are you sure you won't do a cut and paste deal? I could give you exactly what you need. No education needed, except cut and paste. All code provided and info on where to put it.

Oh I actually know this one. Highlight the text you want to copy with your mouse and then right click it. Choose copy and then go to where you want to paste it, right click again and hit paste.
