do you know any shih tzu breeders?

We finally narrowed down what kind of dog we are getting our five year old. I have visted 2 breeders in Georgia so far and I am so confused. I am wondering if anyone knows of a shih tzu breeder or owner that I can ask there opinion on some things... thanks

sorry i dont. But my five year old calls them "crapzoo's" cause she aint allowed to cuss.. LOL (her thinking not mine. )

have you tried just some online forums of enthousiasts? (sp) breeders, owners and showers?

I have a friend who raised them before the storm, she only has the adults now. She has mentioned before that they aren't real good with kids, and snap alot. They tend to have breathing problems if not bred right, and

I know they are ALOT of work as far as grooming.
IMO I would go with a different breed for a 5yo.

I will ask her for her email, and pass it along if she is ok with it.

My son's friend brought over his new puppy this morning...part shih tzu/part pug. What a bundle of energy. He pretty much made himself at home, and it looks like we'll be watching him for a couple of days next week. Wow, did he keep me busy while he was here. He was best kept ouside, because inside, he was all over my dog's toys, and she didn't like that too much.
