New look for board

I can't wait to see the new look. <-------- Looked for a cheerleader, but this was the best I could come up with.

Don't get too excited, there's no fancy slideshows or anything -- just some new colours and stuff. I'm trying to keep it simple for any members with a slow internet connection.

So I guess the green isn't working on a lot of monitors, correct?

To change the font colours I have to get into the code of the board and change it in there. I'll give it a try, but be ready for me to mess it up! LOL!

Oh and if that doesn't work I have an alternative theme to use. I like this one better though...

I'm sorry, but I don't like it... I'm of the mindset if it's not broke, don't fix it.... I actually miss the spinning shells to tell me what I've not read since my last visit...

I like it except for the lime green font. It's hard to read.

Woo Hoo! I've got some of the green fixed! There's several different codes for the same colour so it's not as easy as I had hoped.

Ok, I think I've gotten the worst of it. I can still rearrange things with this colour scheme or try a backup theme or go back to the old one if that's what everyone wants. I'll set up a poll and see what people think.

I'm glad it's loading better. I kind of like the new look. Originally all the forum names and some other text were green. It looked ok on my screen so I didn't think much about it, but soon people here were saying that they couldn't read it so I changed it to blue.

I couldn't read it, but I cannot read purple text either. I have a Red layover, that fits on my screen, that makes me able to read it.....it looks better now, cleaner, I like it!

Some of the text is way too little for this old lady to read now! Also the pictures on the left are confusing. It is also hard to see where the new posts are.

I agree with Honey... my topics headings are still lime green. There is a big waste of space (maybe 1/3 of page) on the left with a big squiggly which means I have to now scroll side to side to read messages and see avatars.

I know you're working hard Rebecca, and I appreciate that you set this board up a year ago... but I liked it better with the spinning shells!

I actually love this look, just having lots of problems reading and using it. Very nice look though. Clean and modern.

My only color issue is I am too blind to see the light green in the middle of the unread popular posts, is there a way to make it stand out a bit more?

On a positive note:

I love how the quoted text shows up (gray box with turqoise font). It's very easy on the eyes.
