Re: What Are You Listening To
I have XM radio and love it. Lots of choices but I listen mostly to my fave channels of classic alternative, 80s, dance, bluegrass/country and talk. They have a french music channel that I perused recently and heard some old American 80s music translated into french which was pretty interesting. I don't speak French but I recognized the tune and could sing along in English.

A home made CD by Chuck Norris which includes the Walker, Texas Ranger Theme Song (both of them) it also contains WTR wav's; I'm about to listen to a CD that was recently sent to me by an old friend of mine, Tirk Wilder who wrote the WTR theme song, it's on his CD in it's full form. All the rest of the CD's in my cars CD changer are all Kenny Rogers. Tirk Wilder's Cd is available on his website.

My vehicle is so old, I do not have a cd player. When I opt to drive; all the songs, I play in my head. Otherwise, a player of cd is available here in the home

Re: What Are You Listening To
Is your classic alternative favorite called First Wave on Channel 44? Before XM and Serius merged it was called Fred on 44. I am loving First Wave....I prefer it over the old Fred. I was addicted to 130 (POTUS) for months before the election, but have stopped listening to that as much. For kicks I listen to the old radio shows on channel 164.gdpszak wrote:I have XM radio and love it. Yes, Fred was my fave channel. I'm still holding out on deciding whether I like the old Fred or the new 1st Wave better. I DON'T like all the dj chatter going on now. It has increased dramatically since the merger on many channels. Old Time Radio is pretty great. I used to listen to The Shadow but ended up scarying myself because I was driving in the dark, lol.

Re: What Are You Listening To
As usual my made by Chuck Norris Walker, Texas Ranger theme song and WTR wav's CD, but now it's in my new red 2009 Dodge Charger R/T AWD car! Occassionally I listen to it by my good song writer friend Tirk Wilder who wrote and composed it at Chuck's request. So far the other 5 Kenny Rogers in the CD changer haven't yet been played. After all I've only driven my new car three times.....too much bad weather in Massachusetts or I recently taken a pain pill and won't drive!

Laurie Berkner singing "Bottlecaps". I know it's a kid's song, but I love that song!
