I dunno, maybe I am thin skinned, but I find that to be rude.

I think it kinda is too Valerie. I think a lot of their humor is borderline rude and while it might be okay coming from a friend, I find it abrasive coming from bzz. In the comdev training they say it is okay to be as rude as you want as long as you use twisted humor so the reader isn't 100% positive you are picking on them. Nice huh?

"abrasive" is the perfect word. I don't know, I guess I kind of feel insulted and my feelings got hurt. Now I sound like a baby.

I also find it abrasive, and would forward it to someone? Anyone? Downright rude!

I guess its just my sense of humor. But It didnt bother me as a person. I just ewnt right on past it. I reckon its 2nd nature for me to hear that kind of stuff.

BUT, I also thought to myself "I bet that upsets someone" LOL

See if someone I knew said that, I would think nothing of it, hell, I would laugh. But, from an impersonal email from a professional company? Nope not funny.

If it was a more profesional company, I would think the same. But one of the things i always liked about BA was they never took themselves too seriously. thats how ebay used to be back in the day. i see alt of simmularities. I was on that ship when it sank too

It isn't just in an email, it says it on my status page and I never have liked it. It just seems wrong for a company to act like that to me. I think it is all part of the ~ we are so young and cool ~ thing they like so much about themselves

I've seen it before too. It doesn't really offend me, but it's not exactly professional either. I agree with Honey -- I think it's supposed to be laid back and cool.

I agree. It runs along the same lines as meeting a friend for coffee and saying 'well, aren't you just the picture of ugly today' and then you both laugh - give each other a slap on the back, hug, and proceed with your coffee.
