My day just got better

I was having a really crappy day. The crap started the minute I rolled out of bed too and has been snow balling ever since.I am not going to list all the crap I was dealing with, but I finally caught a break. I was on hold to complain to Directv when hubby called. I left Directv on hold and talked to hubby. It is our 24 wedding anniversary today, but we did not have the money to celebrate. He called to say he won a $50 lotto scratch off woo hoo!!! Now we can go to dinner.
Then I switch back to Directv and find I am still on hold and have not lost my spot. A few minutes more and I am being helped. However, I can't understand the woman. Her accent is too thick and I start to get frustrated. She ends up telling me the tech who is coming out on the 20th can straighten out my issue and until then she is giving me a $10 per month credit for 6 months. This is to cover my billing issue and my frustration at not understanding her. I may not have explained it to well here, but I am happy with the outcome in any case

I am hoping that dinner is nice, and relaxing!
Also glad to hear that at least DirectTV will help in the billing issues. Sometimes places will help, other times it just makes you want to scream into the phone at them.
I won a $50 scratch off the other day. Tim ran into the gas station and gave me one. He thought I was kidding when I told him I won. That ended up paying for our groceries and the cell minutes I just bought. It made the day better.

I wish I got rebates every time I couldn't understand a customer service rep on the phone. I figure they can afford to give us rebates since they're outsourcing those jobs because they have to pay US workers too much.
