IS it bad?

Is it bad if I talked my aunt into letting Bnut spend the night with her, even used the " WEll you ARE her godmother " line. Dh grilled me a ribeye, and I have a bottle of wine and a cheesecake.......and I am SO happy there are no kids here. I have not had a night wiht NO kids in....ages. And I will most likely be a Grandmother tomorrow. SO I think I deserve a bottle of wine and a cheesecake and some peace and damn qquiet on my bday.......so is that bad>?

OH, did I mention that Bnut has been driving me crazy all day> Being a brat and screaming and making me threaten her with bodily harm.

Kids have no business around cheesecake, good steaks, wine and spunky adults.
Right when you go to put a morsel of any of the aforementioned ingredients into your mouth, they'll be needing one thing or another...

pearly you are so right! It never fails... I can not eat all day, and then at night, when I go to sit down to eat something, Timmy needs this, he needs that. ugh!!!!

Motherhood is great and I like all the posts on the adventures with your kids. I am here to offer support. Mine is now 40! Something I derive great pleasure in reminding him of, "oooh, you're middle aged!" And in my best Nelson Munch's voice "HAH, HAH".

Actually, I miss all the kids who were around here. I truly do.
