Something fun... Empty Something fun...

Post by KellyM Thu Aug 28, 2008 11:15 pm

OK lets do something fun.. Let's everyone post something about themselves, for example, maybe you are related to someone famous, or maybe you have a strange talent (maybe you can pick your nose with your toe) or maybe you have done something naughty, or have a weird habit, etc. I will go first and look like a dingbat (i'm good at that).

I tend to find certain men attractive that most women don't. You are thinking, "Hmm, that's not all that weird...." Let me name a few that I find attractive and you will see what I mean.

Willie Nelson- Okay now don't barf, if you have ever watched Red Headed Stranger, when he sneaks into the widow's cabin at night and in the firelight you can see the expression on his face as he is looking at her, that look just makes me weak in the knees. (I know, I know, I found it odd when I thought about it, I mean come on Willie Nelson? Granted I love his music but....

I love Braveheart, most people do, and they love Mel Gibson..not me... I was the one who was attracted to the crazy Irish guy who was always talking to God.. lol

Oh I love humiliation..lets see one last one while I am on a roll.....
Esteban makes me weak in the knees..have you ever heard that man talk? Never mind his guitar playing which is awesome in itself but I think he has the sexiest voice ever...

Ok now spill it......

I think Clint Eastwood is sexy (and he is OLD)... and I would leave my hubby in a heartbeat for Hugh Laurie.

Hmmm... I'm double jointed in my wrists. Whenever I have to recert on my defense techniques for work I attract a lot of attention because the wrist bends that bring most people to their knees don't even make me flinch.

Okay, watch out Tara, I'm going to be your biggest competition. Wanna add George Cloney to the mix?

Or if you're a All My Children fan from many years ago (long before Kelly Ripa got rich and famous), there was a charactor called Nichos. OMG, honestly, I had fantisties about him I'm be embarrassed to write about ( let alone let DH know!)

Alex McArthur - he played Duell McCall in the Desperado series.
Timothy B. Schmit - from the Eagles.
Campbell Blair - millright, never did his upper buttons up on those coveralls, had the most breathtaking chest you ever wanted to gaze upon...

Here is a dingbat wingdinger. My brain works together. It has a difficult time trying to decide left from right in everyday applications. To give you examples: I write left handed. I play guitar, bowl (most other everyday activities) right handed. To utilize a hammer, screwdriver; I basically have to think which hand will do the job the best. If that hand gets to tired, I switch hands.

Think on this; regardless which hand you use to write with - try writing backwards. You can right forward but can you do it backwards. Comes quite natural to me. God help me! affraid

I have a thing for Owen wilson ok not a thing - a really big thing for Owen wilson-I have a picture of him hanging up at my station at the salon. When the wedding crashers (the movie) was on dvd my sitter was watching it and I came in the room and said WOW he is Hot the sitter and her friend were roaring and said he looks like my husband! since he has the same haircut and blonde and blue eyes -I was like OMG he does-then this summer 3 girls ran up to him (my husband)and my brother thinking my husband was Owen until they saw his nose!(at a red sox's game) Sometimes I think when my husband is sleeping I should smash his nose with a hammer then he would really look like him!!(only joking) I have a few customers that work at the casino's in Ct and there on the look out for him-for me-Plus you want to read something sad--I go to Vegas every year with my girlfriends in April when I went to Vegas Owen was in Boston ---I almost pooped a Twinkie!!! Now Owen if your reading this you should have called me to let me know you were going to be in town-since I was in vegas looking for you!!!!

Some advice ---You can get Google alerts on your favorite guy -I get one for Owen everday ---Now if i met him in real life I would be speechless

I also think Elvis Presley is the greatest thing eva and Dean Martin---So when it's time for me to hit those pearly gates in heaven they better be singing to me!!

um... Lance Burton (Magician- has a show in Vegas right now) is a 3rd cousin...

For every year of my life, I have moved (added up)

I have a high tolerance for pain- had gotten my nipples pierced when I was 16 and laughed the whole time (I know, i was young, rebellious and my then bf paid for them). I miss my labret and tongue piercing and plan to do them again soon.

um.....

I have lived in the Chicago area my whole life, but have never done the "touristy" things such as go to the Sears Tower or Navy Pier. Did the Taste of Chicago ONCE, will never again.

I am terrified of birds. If one is flying or near me, I scream and curl into the fetal position. Mostly started because of my ex teasing me by releasing his aunt's bird and letting it fly around.

I am terrified of heights and can not even climb a step stool without getting scared. Case in point, Tim and I got a new filing cabinet the other day and he needed help bringing it to the basement. I was supposed to be the last one down, and help out. I took one look down the stairs and how I would have to go down them and froze. I couldn't do it. I felt so bad.

I am scared of bugs, arachnids, creepy crawly things.

I can do the horror movie scream. I found it out in 5th grade during recess when no one listened to the teacher to come back in. I just opened my mouth and let loose.

I have long thumb nails and usually pinky nails. I do not do anything special for them. I just let them grow.

I taught myself how to do the splits and how to go on pointe. My family couldn't afford to sign me up for dance or gymnastics so i stretched and stretched each night before bed until I could do the splits. And with pointe, I used to just do it. Hurt but I felt like I was a part of dance.

Okay that is it.. gotta leave something to the imagination!

Very left handed traits -- I can do a lot of those things too. Writing backwards is one of those things that I forget most people can't do! My dad and I both switch hands when hammering and when we play tennis we don't use a backhand, we just use a right handed forehand.
Here's one -- it took me years to learn how to use a manuel can opener because my brain could not compute how to fit one on because they're made for right handed people.

Thats ambedextorious (sp) trax, Smile

Lets see, tell on myself.

I am kin to Nolan Ryan, and another of my cousins (mine and Nolans) was in the 3rd superbowl for the Kansas City Cheifs.

LOVE a cowboy. Not a dressed up cowboy, but a sure enough, knows how to sit a horse, cowboy. Gus Mccray and Call were SOOO sexy in Lonesome Dove. and Tom Seleck and George Strait could put thier boots under my bed any day.

way afraid of spiders, but not snakes. I will hurt myself to get away from a spider.
can shoot, skin, cook and eat just about anything you show me, but cant raise a calf or hog to eat, cause I name them. No problem buying them at the store though. Smile

I KEEP a thing of chocolate frosting in my fridge, and eat on it all the time.

I cuss like a sailor

My belly button is peirced, although right now I am too fat to wear it. and I want a tatoo.

I love to fish, and can puncture and drown a worm with out a second thought but cant take the fish off the hook. They are nasty.

I cant ride in a car, I am terrified of it. I refuse to ride in or on anything that I can see the undercarraige of an 18 wheeler in. I dont even like to ride in DH's 4 x 4 Toyota. Its too tiny. I want a real truck.

Zaven WAS left handed when he was very little. Then he had a cataract removed from his right eye. And within a few weeks he switched to writing with his right hand. We didn't try to get him to switch. He just did. But last week (10 years after they surgery) he discovered he could play basketball better when he used his left hand to shoot goals. Very strange.

My son is left handed- or at least right now prefers left.

But he can pitch with both, and hit a baseball with both. Let's hope we have a sports superstar here.

I have to double check where Lance is at. My Mom went to see him last year.

Video of Lance

I went online and I think this is where he is at:: Monte Carlos Las Vegas Resort.

I have to double check with my Mom though, she keeps up with him more than I do.

He was on that Penn show last year, I think called Identity. that whole show I was spazzing out calling family.
