Warning about Classic Closeouts

On several freebie/deals boards people are finding unauthorized charges to their credit cards from Classic Closeouts. We've never had any of their sales or clearances posted here, but I wanted to warn people about this anyway because many of the people ordered from them YEARS ago and still had their credit cards on file. They may have bought a $5 gift in 2006 and are now finding a $70 charge on their credit card. If you have EVER purchased from them, you may be at risk.

The general advice I'm hearing is to log into your account and remove any credit card info, then make sure to double check bank and credit card statements to make sure there isn't an unauthorized charge.

I bought from them about, oh gosh, 4 years ago. I found a couple things there for Wynonna, the prices are great, but the size selection for clothing items is very limited. Also some of their items are things that were from stores that may have had smoke damage or flooding, so you never know what you might get. Those few things that I had ordered, one shirt smelled like smoke really bad, and another was a pair of pants that the legs lengths were irregular (but it didn't say irregular on the item page). I never ordered from them again. Hearing this, I am glad that I no longer have my account that I had 4 years ago, right now it would be empty anyway lol.
