Wednesday night, June 18th, step outside at sunset and look
around. You'll see a giant form rising in the east. At first

glance it looks like the full Moon. It has craters and seas
and the face of a man, but this "moon" is strangely
infl ated. It's huge! You've just experienced the Moon Illusion.

Dudettes! I went outside and hung around with some neighbors loitering for a while, told them about the moon tonight (they must think I'm on something), but it's so cloudly that we can't see any moon at all. : (

Waited until 9:45 p.m. for the moon too, and nothing showed. Sad Bummer... it is kind of cloudy though.

i went out and its just a huge moon showing here. Once it got over the trees. looks like a full moon. But thats about right cause tonight is the full moon. it id hav a halo around it. and its got the critters movin. BR has ran over 2 ratttlesnakes tonight. one 4 foot the other 6-7 foot.

Oh man, I'm so glad you guys posted this. We went down the street to watch it come up where there were no trees. I kid you not it was HUGE looking. It started out almost a magenta pink and then went to orange, then to yellow and finally back to white. My son was amazed!
