Helpful Hints for My Points

Since this apart of bzz now....

1. Add their email addresses to your safe list so you get bonus emails.....you click on these and get 5 miles and if you complete the offer (most are free just will give you lots of junk mail)
2. Look on the right hand of the screen when you log in for the polls - they are one question only and you get 5 points
3. Sign up for their emails under easy points on a monthly basis by either completing one after clicking easy points or click continue and you will get another offer for a newsletter (sometimes)
4. They have holiday contest where you can win points
5.....KEEP this going - any questions let me know

oh great, so they signed us up with a spamming offer site. Thats what I always wanted.

We get spammed by everything.....even my electric company has sold my info cuz my name is spelled wrong.

You dont have to sign up for the newsletters but you can always filter them out of your email as junk or when you get one deregister.

You dont have to sign up for anything if you just do the quick survey or the bonus emails

I flagged them as spam a loooong time ago, and now can't find them to take them off the filter. *sigh*

what email program are you using....usually adding them to your address book or safe list corrects the problem

I do appriciate it, but it sucks to have to learn it. Not to mention I am not happy about the conversion, the lies about 40 points, the fact that I cant just my points to load because its grafics heavy.

I cant even sign in to use my points. I just sit there.. NOW I know why I freakin left.

same here michelle. mailwasher is not happy with me. and I might not be able to get into their system because I had mailwasher bounce my emails to them a while back

I wonder if they have a canadian site, too? But I'll check on that tomorrow. Or rather, later today. I'm getting ready to head to bed.

Thanks for trying to make the most of it and help everyone out Brandi. I'm all for a third party site taking over the rewards system. I'm not sure if this is the one I would have chosen, but at least they did something I guess.

Brandi I signed up with MyPoints when you mentioned it in the UnBzzed and Unendorsed area. So I already had 2500 points there.

Chelle, I hate to say this but their site is just notoriously slow to download anything on. It drives me crazy sometimes. I have been clicking on their emailed points links, though I don't sign up for all the crap that would give me bonus points. NOT worth it for me. Many of them are free trials that you have to catch and cancel before they turn into a paid membership.

Examples: Yesterday I had an email that gave me 5 points to click to the Literary Guild site and I would have received 1100 more points if I'd signed up with them. That wasn't a free trial, it was a commitment. I also had one yesterday for 5 points to go to the Toyota site and if I'd "built a toyota" and submitted it for an estimate I'd have earned another 100 points.

I also pretty much just click on the emails for 5 points. I also shop through links from them when I can when I am shopping online. I was so upset when my husband bought my new laptop last year and I didn't get to go through mypoints!

Thank you for your help, Brandi. I added that contact to my address book so I can happily receive all of their spam now. I appreciate you trying to find out if they have a dial up site, so maybe Chelle, Trax, and I don't end up throwing our computers out the window.

I see these offer sites getting alot of folks in trouble.

I dont have time for inbox dollars, I sure dont have time for building points over hre.

OMG Astrid - that would have been tragic! I'd have murderized him!

Remember you don't HAVE to participate in Mypoints. Transfer your points, cash them in for Bzz rewards, and leave it at that. You can opt out of any mail from them if you so choose. But I think you should give them a try. They really have been a decent company.
