Same here crashed with mypoints part

so what's the deal? I can't get in. What's this about mypoints?

This is going to seriously tick me off if it doesn't count my key.

Are we sure cuz when I looked at mine it looked like 3000 down to 2000? Or maybe the wine has gotten to my eyes

you know there are some folks that are so dumb they will see the 8 to 1 conversion and jump for joy and think they just bit a fat hog in the ass.

those of us who don't sit in front of our computers all day and thus couldn't qualify for rewards on the old system ARE jumping for joy. cause at least we will actually get something.

can anyone explain to me what the old conversion rate was? it was nil for me because i never got to a reward in time... but it sounds like MyPoints' rate is low for you all... did the old system give gift cards? i never saw them. i just saw electronics and other somewhat crappy stuff that were reviewed badly on amazon. i have heard some people got good rewards on that system, i guess i just wasn't lucky.

i'm sorry for folks who feel screwed over. i can totally understand that if the conversion rate is lower it would feel like being ripped off. for me, on the other hand, i'm willing to pay that price in order to actually be ABLE to convert my points into prizes at all. plus i've had good experiences with mypoints...

dragon, Belive me, until the big hoopla, I never got a reward. I wanted a new system. BUT I was happy with the prizes, crappy as they could be. I cant see it having been that big of a deal to keep it in house. Heck, they could have went to strait amazon gift certificates. Amazon has an affilite program for that.

Or they could have bought MORE prizes. They NEEDED to fix it. but that is not what they did. They did this in the hopes that 90% of people would say "awww screw it, I aint gona convert 137 points." and there are quite a few doing that.

And the ratio was around 10-1 100 points was worth 10.00, sometimes a little less, sometimes a little more.

I got a mag flashlight for just a few hundred points. that was a good conversion. ( of course my kids have lost it.... ) BUT I will find it one day and since its a mag light it will still be GOOD! I gave 10.00 to a charity. well 40.00 for 400 points.

for those who do not want to convert their points use someone elses mypoints account??????? why not if you dont want them.

I guess I just feel personally like a gift card in the hand is worth two wafflemakers in the bush... haha. The "awesome" old prizes were not awesome for me, because I tried and tried but never got them.

I'll admit it's odd to me that people aren't converting small amounts of points, since it only takes a small amount of points plus using MyPoints for a couple of your normal online purchases to get a gift card - But I guess you're probably right, they probably assumed some people would forfeit their points. I still am not totally sure BzzAgent would come out ahead, though - MyPoints is making rewards available to so many more people that even with a reduction in value, I doubt they're saving any money.

I totally understand how much it sucks to feel screwed over by people you worked really hard for. And it makes sense why some people feel that way.

Brandiland -That'd be a nice thing for people to do, yes. If they care enough, know someone else with MyPoints, and actually know that they're allowed to do that!

Um, correct me if I am wrong. Aren't the people with 40 points going to be a little disappointed? There are no rewards on Mypoints for only 320 points.

Don't get me wrong, I am happy. I have been a Mypoints member for longer than I have been a bzzagent and I am very very happy to be able to trade my bzzagent points in and get some great gift cards. But if I had a very low number of points, like less than 200, I would not be too impressed because you could barely get anything.

Now I need to say "Thank you BzzAgent!!!!" I am thrilled to get my rewards! My conversion will equal about $125 worth of gas, that is great!

Maybe they are going to give troll dolls or key chains on June 9th for people who only have 4o points.
Keep in mind this is only the beginning of the whole conversion

Why am I not happy with the change- why should I be. I think we got it big time and lost a lot in this change.

DON'T do it! If I were working at BzzAgent and saw 5 or 6 BzzAccounts being funneled into one MyPoint account I would flag them all as pests as fast as humanly possible! I wouldn't give a single campaign to any one of those accounts.

It's not worth the risk.

Brandi, that was a husband and wife combining. Not 5 or 6 agents combining. I would get approval first.

I never said 5 or 6 but give them to a friend that you referred
