I think we are getting close
I really do, DD was up all night last night with back/rib pain( she called me 17 times between midnight and 7 am). No contractions, but constant pain. She will be 34 weeks tomorrow, and I do not see her making it to 40, I have reasons:
DD's stress level right now is unbelievable, boyfriend got laid off, and they have bills, his family has been giving her stress( his Mom is a NUT JOB)
the kid cannot drop any lower, it is almost to her knees.
She has NO tolerance for pain( labor is gonna be fun), and I do mean Zero tolerance.
This is gonna be a BIG baby, IMO, mine weighed 8 lbs Plus, and this one is a big one I think.
A reallyReally( like 152 years old) old woman in the grocery store thought DD was due already, and swore she would never ever make it 6 more weeks. I trust really really old people, they know things.

She should see about getting a medical card if she doesn't have one already. At least she will not have to worry about the medical bills that way. But it does sound as if this baby is coming soon!
Re: I think we are getting close
She is actually covered by my Insurance. One thing we don't have to worry about....and I am SO glad I paid the extra to keep her covered when she turned 18.....BTw, she is 20 today. I feel old.

Happy birthday to her! I hope she makes it to the 36 week point... can't wait for pictures!
Re: I think we are getting close
Poor thing! I hope the kiddo hangs in there until it's good and ready! I lucked out, my daughter was teeny. Of course she's a big monstrous toddler now, but the day we took her home from the hospital she was just a little handful it seemed.

Re: I think we are getting close
My first labor was back labor. Sounds like she is really getting there. And she might be off on her dates. Its not hard to do.
But either way I have 4 kids and all were early. 2 weeks on the 1st, 3 weeks on the 2nd, 5 weeks on the 3rd (4 lbs 13 oz) and 2 weeks on the 4th.

Oh wow she was tiny! Did anyone touch her? Saige was 5.9 and no one would touch her... they all acted like she would break in half. My MIL is the ONLY one who hold her other than us in the first month.
Re: I think we are getting close
My MIL was scared to death of her. LOL And it showed, this woman has worked at a day care for YEARS, had 4 kids of her own. But Rayley wouldd cry everytime Martha picked her up! LOL
but yes, other than her, everyone couldnt keep their hands off her. She was so cute in her cabbage patch kid clothes

Re: I think we are getting close
Kristin was Overdue by 18 days, and Bay was born on her due date....so no telling with this one. She has been feeling crappy though, alot of back pain, but no contractions. I had back labor with both of mine and no meds or painkillers. I had some wild ass idea to do it natural.....I DO NOT recommend it. I would almost be willing to have another to get an epidural, just to see what it is like.
Ang no, they don't stay cute and quiet. they become preteens who drive you nuts and never EVER stop talking.

Re: I think we are getting close
erin,
Its amazing. ITs pure bliss.
UNLESS, they screw it up and then your back hurts awful when you spend 5 hours bent over picking peas. So bad you have to lay on a heating pad for about 6 hours before the pain goes away enough that you dont mind getting up and goin to the bathroom to pee, instead of the evil thoughts of just sitting here and swearing you had no idea...

Re: I think we are getting close
I dunno my first was all natural. I was in labor for 1 1/2 hours I pushed for 4 minutes. It hurt like hell.
Then came sir whines a lot, he was induced and I had had drugs ( no epidural here... I am more afraid of the needle in my spine and it almost killed my SIL, she had fluid build up on her brain.... it was scary stuff) once again, I was in labor for maybe 45 minutes... went from nothing to he coming in about 2 minutes and it hurt WAY WAY worse with the drugs. Took me almost 7 months to heal (good thing hubby has the patience of a saint). I went back at 7 weeks pp to find out none of my stitched disolved like they were suppose to, I ended up having a bunch cut and pulled that day... felt like I just had a baby all over again.
I will say if I ever have more, I will not be induced, I don't care if I go 62 weeks. They will have to cut it out because I will refuse. I'm not sure my poor girl parts could handle a third. sorry TMI
