I heard about homes in WI being washed down the river and remembered a member was from WI and hoping they were safe.
I hope that it stays dry for you tonite. No more rain! As far as I can tell, there is no more rain until Sunday, but I am not too sure what part of WI you are in.
Stay dry, safe and keep us updated please!
I will pray that you and your family stay safe.
Good luck with everything.

I miss the Aweful Waffle House at 2am! Our friend was once served hard eggs so runny he drank them through the straw.
There was also a really good small itallian place on hope mills rd across from wal mart that I LOVED but the name escapes me right now. I also miss Bo Jangles sweet tea. Up here you ask for sweet tea and they tell you they have suggar packets on the table. People here just don't *get* sweet tea. Even if a place serves "sweet tea" it's NOTHING like down there.
Can't say I miss much but the food down there.

Re: So close and so scary!
I read a book once that stated you should always listen to your fears and act appropriately. Fear is our warning sense that something is not quite right. I think if we listened and acted on it, we may be a lot better. I don't think you are a "sissy" for being afraid. I have been in both hurricanes in Florida and tornadoes in Texas- neither are fun. But at least you know a Hurricane is coming before it hits.

Re: So close and so scary!
A friend sent this to me. This is at I-355 & I-57 in the New Lenox/Joliet, IL area. Right down from where I used to live (and where he currently lives). This is not his video, but it is still too close for comfort. This is from the other day with all the bad storms going on.
