Top 100 and Bonus Kits Empty Top 100 and Bonus Kits

Post by tegansmom Thu Jun 12, 2008 4:25 pm

Some one posted this on another board in response to a question about the top 100 and Bonus Kits:

Here is the answer

HiXXXXXXXXX

Bonus kits will still be sent out to award our top agents, but it will
be a surprise! As for the top 100 list, we are working on a new version
of this, so we'll let you know about this! But just so you can gage on
where you stand, only the top 3% of our Agents are sweet bees...so I'd
say you're doing pretty well. Keep up the good work! If you have any
other questions feel free to email us.

Thanks,
Sara

I find that sentence hard to believe/swallow! I'm now a sweet bee, and yet pre-change, I was a tier 2... a long way from being a "top agent" !

My daughter was a tier 2 before the change..I referred her to BzzAgent so we joined at about the same time in early 2006..she averaged about 2 or 3 reports a campaign..whereas I bzzed and reported every opportunity..she is now a sweet bee ..just like me..

Top 100 and Bonus Kits Empty Re: Top 100 and Bonus Kits

Post by southcarolinagirl Fri Jun 13, 2008 9:49 pm

I am now a level four. Before the change over, I was #67 on the top 100 list and tier 4. Since I just joined in January, I'm being punished or at least that's how I feel. It pisses me off that I wrote over 20 reports for some of the bzz campaigns and I got one honey comb just like the person that maybe bzzed two people. Since I'm lower on the new system, I'll never get a bonus kit. It just makes me upset! If I'm only going to move up a homecomb or whatever for a post survey, three frogs, and a couple bzzes...hells bells...I'll never move up. Ughhhhhhhhh sorry to vent! It's been a yucky day all around and I'm frustrated with bzz! This being said, I totally think the people that have been with bzz for years should be ahead of beginning bzzers. I wish I had found bzz along time ago. What can I say...I'm a pissed off bzzer and I'm not bzzing anymore of the campaigns that I have because I've bzzed each one around 20 times. Why work so hard for nothing!

Well I was top 100 and #15 on the list. I am overall happy with the change. I wish we got more points but overall they made a very good business decision. I still feel I am in the top agents and continue to bzz and do what I did before the change, even thought it does me no good status wise. I did just get a bonus kit which makes me feel better but I want more campaigns and I really miss the race for top agent.

I have been in the top 100, but I joined a few more campaigns and dropped to just below it. The more I think about the change, the more I think they should have flip flopped the earnings. If I had set it up, I would have let you had a max on the # of reports that earned you money, but not a max on the # that earned you status. That way, they could set up a rewards budget for each campaign (500 BzzKits = 500 agents x $10 maximum rewards for each agent = $5,000 rewards budget), but I would have made any additional reports work towards more honeycombs, so that over time, those who worked harder would move towards earlier invitations.

GMTA, I was thinking almost the same thing last night.....weird, but I really think it would work better.

I think they were trying to make it more.....hmmmm... fare.... I don't mean to make you upset southcarolinagirl but I think they did it so a person can't join and within a few campaigns be at the top... I completely understand how you feel... I worked hard to be in the top 100 also... but can understand why they re did the tiring system. I am not upset about the tiering system... as long as they still give bonus kits... I am happy... well not happy with the points... but they are not going to change it... so really I will just have to move on and give up on the points.

Don't worry about upsetting me, mandja...I have a thick skin. I'm still new and learning the ropes, but what you said does make sense. I have only had a few campaigns so it would have been easier to stay near the top. I wasn't looking at the bigger picture...I guess I was thinking more about the people that have been a member for several years, joined campaigns, wrote one liners, and only reported two or three reports. Either way, I just hope there is room for the new people to move/catch up. I don't like being all alone at level four! No

Oh I was in and out of the top 100 because I buzzed my butt off. I didnt do it for rewards but to be in the top. I think of this more as a hobby and now a hobby with benefits. Now I am in level 5 with 7 combs to go for level 6. It will take me forever to get there under the new system but I will get there.

On the positive I like you cant slip backwards. I hope I get bonus kits.
