I think we got screwed. It's better in some ways... prizes always available, a good variety, and it should free up some hive time to get new campaigns. But they SO screwed up on the conversion. 40% drop in value is WAY too much.

Maybe that's what's up with the BzzAgent Bee. He's not got a "stinger" on his nose. It's something else.

We just got a 40% "pay cut" and were forced into signing up for a spam site. Hope everyone's AdAware is up to date because you're going to have to run it every time you visit MyPoints! Worse than that is that they thought that if they were sneaky about it we wouldn't do the math ourselves and figure it out. I guess there are people at BzzAgent who don't have a very high opinion of their Agents.

Well we all wanted a new rewards system with more rewards that were always available and you could get anytime. Well all I can say is thats what they gave us and the grass isnt always greener on the other side is it. Neutral

Yes, but we didn't say we wanted to trade in the value of our points to do it. That's not an improvement. That's just making the problem different.

Terms of Service with Mypoints, as pointed on the buzzagent website What do you think? 461158

[/b]Special Terms and Conditions Applicable to MyPoints
If you choose to exchange your outstanding BzzPoints for MyPoints or to otherwise receive MyPoints for activities on BzzAgent, such exchange is subject to the following conditions:
You must join the MyPoints' loyalty program and by doing so agree to MyPoints' Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy. MyPoints is an online loyalty marketing program that enables consumers registered with MyPoints to earn points-based rewards by responding to email offers, completing online surveys, and shopping online on its website www.mypoints.com.
Any BzzPoints exchanged for MyPoints will expire and your MyPoints account will be subject to closure if you do not conduct any one of the following activities in any consecutive 12 months period after the date of the point exchange: respond (click thru) to a MyPoints email, participate in a MyPoints survey, update your MyPoints profile, or conduct a point earning or spending transaction on MyPoints.
Any MyPoints received from activities on BzzAgent will expire and your MyPoints account will be subject to closure if you do not conduct any one of the following activities within 12 months of the date you register with MyPoints: respond (click thru) to a MyPoints email, participate in a MyPoints survey, update your MyPoints profile, or conduct a point earning or spending transaction at MyPoints.
You authorize MyPoints and BzzAgent to share your relevant personal information as necessary for MyPoints and BzzAgent to establish your MyPoints account, track your account activity and/or award you points. MyPoints and/or BzzAgent may also need to provide certain of your personal information to its advertisers to validate your transaction with it to ensure that your account is credited with the correct number of points. [/b]

So, we have to participate in the spam, the obsessive emails....

my opinion of bzzagent just took a complete dive into a concrete pool.

Because I actually chose to join MyPoints prior to the changeover I don't feel as bad as most of you. I actually do shop online so I figured I may as well get some Points from my transactions. I would be absolutely hopping mad if I was forced to join MyPoints to redeem from BzzAgent. Guys, get yourself to a certain point level over there, cash in your points and make a run for it.

I'm not happy about this either. They just made some big bucks and took commission from us. Before I wanted to get an iPod for 2000 points, I couldn't ever log in at the right time. Now I have 3000 points and it would JUST be enough for an iPod... what a load of bunk.

UGH. And I agree, what about the people with 50 points? I guess they will say "well if they participate in mypoints then they'll earn points to get an item quickly." I'm a member of my points so it's not a big deal to me that they are a spam site, but I can understand people who are not a memeber not wanting to join.

All that wait, anticipation and excitement to be let down! America-home of the greedy!

I really don't understand why the whole 40 Points deal was even brought up. Clearly, 40 BzzPoints (320 MyPoints) will not be enough to redeem for anything.

I do hope we can still get "stuff" in some way when things change over. I really do heart my Bzz keychain. I just showed it to someone yesterday and they commented on the really high quality. It only cost me 50 BzzPoints, too.

I have been a member at mypoints for many years, but I don't really like them. I always have to police my points because they don't post like they should. year after year I have the same problme. last time I complained they gave me points for complaining though lol. I don't shop online through them though as I prefer Ebates for online shopiing.

I am not sure. I am new to mypoints. I just hope I don't get a lot of spam mail from the survey that mypoints made me fill out. That is one thing that I love about bzzagent that I never got spammed to death. hopefully this will all be a good thing, trying to keep an open mind.
