See ya around - Happy Easter

Oh Dee! I'm so glad you posted about the day. It sounded like such a nice Easter. I can almost hear them laughing and see them running (sigh) right through the garden. I always have to remind myself I'd rather have the kids pick the flowers than not have kids who liked flowers. But it's a little sad sometimes when you know that it could be avoided so easily.

I'm a terrible gardener, but I try repeatedly. This year my husband has been trying to clean up some of the junk his Dad collected, and while hauling some scrap metal he snapped off one of our redbud trees. He felt so awful, and we're trying to figure out if we should try to reattach it, or just put some rooting hormones on the trunk and shove it in the ground and hope for the best.
